Onward Property Solutions was created from a simple belief: real estate is rarely just about property.

It is often about family, memories, responsibility, finances, timing, and major life changes.

For me, that lesson started early.

I grew up around real estate. My dad owned rental properties in South Florida, and I saw how real estate could create opportunity and provide for a family. But as a teenager, I also saw how quickly a real estate situation could become overwhelming. A large project fell apart, our family went through bankruptcy, and our life changed almost overnight.

I still remember watching my mom’s minivan get repossessed.

That moment has stayed with me because it represented more than losing a vehicle. It was the moment I realized how deeply financial and real estate decisions can affect a family’s sense of safety, stability, and dignity.

Years later, after my dad was diagnosed with terminal brain cancer and passed away, our family faced another difficult housing decision. My mom was grieving, financially vulnerable, and unsure what would happen next.

At 24 years old, I stepped in to help protect the home she was living in. My parents had already put money down through a seller-financed agreement with the previous owners, but after my dad got sick and passed away, the remaining balance still had to be paid. I worked to qualify for financing, completed the purchase, and helped make sure my mom did not lose what my parents had already invested.

Later, we sold the home so she could move to Gainesville and be closer to family.

That season changed the way I see real estate.

A property is not just an asset. Sometimes it is the thing standing between a family and uncertainty. Sometimes it is filled with grief, memories, pressure, responsibility, and questions no one feels ready to answer.

My professional background has only deepened that perspective. Through years in sales, service, and real estate, I’ve learned how important it is to listen first, ask thoughtful questions, and help people understand their options clearly before making a decision.

That combination of lived experience and real estate problem-solving is what shaped Onward.

That is why Onward exists.
